Improved Image Quality in CT Scans

Our innovative CT system includes a coordinated and integrated imaging and analysis platform. The system provides uniquely improved image quality in CT scans, which is obtained by reducing peak kilo-voltage (kVP) in addition to providing real-time modulation of applied kVP to discrete tissue locations within a larger region, where the overall application is maintained below a threshold value.

The improved CT system creates an initial map by characterizing a tissue region that establishes the region borders for a given larger tissue section being scanned. The specific region in turn serves as a tissue map for further evaluation by CT, where minimal to no radiation exposure occurs during the initial mapping stage.
